School Principal
Elaine is the Principal of the dance school and has more than 20 years teaching experience. She works as an Associate Artist with The Royal Opera House alongside running the dance school. As well as training in Dance at University and with the International Dance Teachers Association, she is regularly updating her skills and qualifications to benefit the dance school. It was always her ambition to have her own dance school and hopes to inspire her students to follow their own ambitions. She is incredibly proud of all her students and how far they have came.

Miss Natasha
Deputy Principal
Natasha works full time at the school as our Deputy Principal which involves communications and planning while teaching a range of classes across all branches. She is the lead teacher at our Hexham branch and is responsible for all our holiday camps across our three locations. She also works as an Associate Artist with The Royal Opera House alongside Elaine and as an Aerial Teaching Assistant. Throughout her degree she had the opportunity of working with professional contemporary choreographers and so brings a specialist knowledge to our Contemporary classes. She has trained with Elaine since she was 3 and has completed all her Grades in Ballet and Tap up to Intermediate Professional Performers. She has successfully taken her Associate Teaching exam in Freestyle achieving the highest possible grading, Distinction, and is now a fully qualified teacher with the board. Natasha teaches across all of our class subjects but specialises in Early Years and Contemporary as well as Acrobatic Arts.

Miss Emily
Company Lead
Emily has trained with Elaine since the age of 3 and has completed all her Grades in Ballet and Tap up to Intermediate Professional Performers. She has successfully taken her Associate Teaching exam in Freestyle achieving the highest possible grading, Distinction, and is now a fully qualified teacher with the board. Emily specialises in Street and Commercial styles but teaches all styles across the school at both our Prudhoe and Ponteland branches. She also teaches our Company classes who perform at external events and competitions. Emily works as an Assistant Head of Year in a local Secondary School alongside working at the dance school.

Miss Lucy
Dance Teacher
Lucy teaches across our Ponteland and Prudhoe branches in various styles. Lucy has trained with Elaine since the age of 3 and has achieved all her exams up to Intermediate Professional Performers award. She has successfully taken her Associate Teaching exam in Freestyle achieving the highest possible grading, Distinction and is now a fully qualified teacher with the board. Lucy has recently qualified as a Primary School Teacher and is working as a Year 1 Teacher alongside teaching at the dance school.

Miss Rachel
Dance Teacher
Miss Rachel joined us in 2025 as our newest member of the teaching team and is based at our Hexham branch. Rachel studied Performing Arts at both Newcastle College and Jelli Studios where she completed her Associate Teaching Diploma in Contemporary with the IDTA. Rachel studied a range of styles at her hometown dance school including Ballet and Tap and enjoys Lyrical and Commercial styles. We welcome Miss Rachel to our teaching team.
