We offer dance classes from age 3 and up. Our classes are independent to encourage cosial skills so it’s recommended they already attend a nursery setting.

We encourage parents/carers to drop children off so they can build confidence in making friends and fully engage with the class teacher. All parents are welcome to wait in the building on the first class and support their child to come into class but children usually settle quicker on their own.

We send home feedback postcards for all children, provide progress cards in acro and offer external exams in some subjects. We hold open classes and hold theatre shows so you can see for yourself too. Our teachers are always available to speak to at the end of class.

Our younger children are encouraged to bring a familiar toy with them from home to their first class. We offer a trial class and if needed a second trial before you commit to enrolling so you feel happy they are settled.

Yes-all our children’s and adult classes have trials available subject to availability. These can be booked by clicking the top link of the website.

All our staff are fully qualified, DBS checked, First Aid and Safeguarding trained. See our teachers page for a full list of each teacher’s qualifications.

We follow the IDTA syllabus for Ballet, Tap, Freestyle and First Steps. We follow Acrobatic Arts, PBT and Alixa Flexibility too. We are also Affiliate Teachers with The Royal Ballet School.

Yes we have Ballet, Tap and Pilates sessions for adults. These are for fun, fitness and social with no pressure. We have classes suitable for various levels of experience.

There is no rush to buy a uniform when first starting however our full uniform can be found on our website. It is important that children are safely dressed with hair back and feel mentally ready to try their best in class.

We have branches in Prudhoe, Ponteland and Hexham. Just type us into googlemaps to find us but make sure to choose the right branch!

Details are sent in your confirmation email depending on which class you’ve booked but there’s no need to buy anything new.

We hold full theatre shows for our whole school, providing costumes for everyone taking part. We also have the option of taking part in community events and performing at Disneyland Paris.

When registering we ask for any medical information and reach out to discuss this further with you. Most of our classes have student helpers or assistants so we will discuss with you any further support needed.

Generally speaking we’re not a competitive school. We offer all children the option of individual exams or progress cards to monitor their progress. We also have Company Teams which foster team values and are mostly based on performance opportunities with occasional competition events.

Children usually stand out to us with their attitude towards learning. They ask for additional resources, are at home practicing and want more performance opportunities. To be considered they must attend both Freestyle and Contemporary as it’s these styles we perform in, plus usually Ballet as a strong technical foundations is essential. Flexibility and the ability to learn new routines quickly are also important. All children are considered and the commitment of company isn’t for everyone.

On your Class Manager app which you registered with when joining the school. You can either download the app or log in via your browser. Term dates for the whole year are on your dashboard along with other useful information such as uniform ordering, holiday camps and show dates. Your child’s individual class dates are under ‘classes’.

Trials are available for all our classes priced £5-£7. Children’s classes are payable monthly in advance £13-£21 per month. Adult classes are payable in half termly block. Fees can be paid either by direct debit or with card. See our class pages for individual class prices.
