  • Our Company teams are invited to attend this class in addition to their weekly technique classes. Students usually study most or all dance styles, have great attendance and are looking for more performance opportunities. The class works towards events and competitions as a team and sometimes solos/duets.

Wednesday

  • For children in Nursery or Reception at school. This class explores Ballet, Tap, Freestyle and Pre School Acro using story and mime, inspiring music and lots of props to engage the children. This class has been designed by our Early Years practitioners and in line with the Development Matters curriculum used in schools. Children will be encouraged to socialise and build confidence in a supportive environment. This is an independent class.  £6 trial £17/month

  • For children in KS1. Freestyle is a fun class where children can work towards Medal Tests where they receive a certificate, report form and trophy. Classes include Street, Musical Theatre, Commercial and Jazz styles. £5 trial £13/month.

  • For children in Year 1 or 2 at school. This class combines Ballet and Tap and bridges the Early Years class to our graded classes. Children can choose to work towards First Step Awards in all styles which are teacher led exams where the children receive a report form, certificate and medal. £6 trial £17/month

Saturday

Early Years Programme

Our Early Years dance programme in Prudhoe has been designed by our specialist team of Early Years PGCE qualified teachers in line with the Development Matters curriculum delivered in nurseries and schools. Children will be encouraged to socialise and build confidence in a supportive environment while exploring styles such as Ballet, Tap, Acro and Freestyle using stories, props and mime to inspiring music.

Acrobatic Arts Curriculum

We are an Acrobatic Arts Certified Studio in Prudhoe and offer multiple level classes from Primary to Level 8. Every student receives their own progress card which they work through in class each week.

 

Prudhoe Methodist Church, Front Street, Prudhoe, NE42 6HR

The large hall has a sprung wooden floor, custom fitted ballet barres and mirrors. Our smaller studio has harlequin dance floor and mirrors. There is a large car park on Fair View at the top of the hill and some parking behind the church, however we please ask that you only use the allocated bays as this is a residential street. It is located on Front Street, Prudhoe, just past the main set of traffic lights on the left, opposite the Dr Syntax pub.

For children’s classes or Adult Ballet/Tap we offer trials and pilates classes are bookable in half termly blocks.
