Welcome to The Elaine Pygall School of Dancing

The ‘Elaine Pygall School of Dancing’ was established in January, 2005.  It currently has over 200 students, ranging from 3 years up to adults.  The school is based in Prudhoe, Northumberland, at various venues.  It has four members of staff; myself, Elaine Lilburn, the school’s principal, Stephanie Murray, Vicky Ross and Melissa Walker.  Within the school we teach several techniques including Ballet, Tap, Disco, Street, Modern Jazz, Contemporary, Ballroom, Latin, Musical Theatre.  Dance exams are taken with the International Dance Teachers Association and Drama/Singing exams are taken with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.  Performances are held regularly, either in class to view progression with class work, or as shows in local theatres.  Past performances include The Queens Hall in Hexham and The Journal Tyne Theatre, Newcastle. For a free prospectus, to enrol your child, or to find out more information, please phone me on 01670 732435 or  email me.  Please note it is advisable to phone in advance of your child turning 3 years old as the school has large waiting lists for these classes.
